JACKSON, Miss. ( WKRG ) — Mississippians who opted for absentee voting for this year’s election can check to see whether their ballots were received as the secretary of state released the General Election Absentee report.

According to the report from Secretary of State Michael Watson, the Statewide Election Management System reported the following numbers of absentee ballots as of Monday, Nov. 4.
- 209,037 requested absentee ballots
- 208,886 sent absentee ballots
- 197,903 received absentee ballots

The numbers were reported after the in-person absentee voting deadline passed on Saturday, Nov. 2. All mail-in absentee ballots must be postmarked by Nov. 5 and received by Nov. 13, according to the secretary of state’s news release.
