During one of the first feeder bands, rain from Hurricane Milton left many roads in both Melbourne Beach and Indialantic impassable due to flooding. Houses at Riverside Drive and Miami Ave have their yards underwater with one on the verge of water entering the structure. Inconsiderate people were observed not slowing down sending waves of water farther up the yards. Adults and children were seen riding surf boards and paddle boards down the center of the roads. The roads have not been closed and there are no barricades stopping people from driving in the water but police ask that people avoid the area.
