MIAMI GARDENS — Despite throwing two interceptions and fumbling on the opening drive, Cam Ward directed the Miami Hurricanes to a thrilling come-from-behind 38-34 victory over Virginia Tech Friday night at Hard Rock Stadium.
Ward was 24-of-38 for 343 yards and four touchdowns. He also suffered the two aforementioned interceptions. In one of his worst games of the season, he still produced a Heisman-winning drive for the Hurricanes to take the lead late in the fourth quarter with less than two minutes remaining.
