A man from Florida was checking into a resort and gave the valet keys to his Rolls Royce Cullinan SUV . That’s when 21-year-old Malik Patterson saw his opportunity to hop behind the $339,750 wheel and disappear.
Police responded around 2:15 a.m. The white luxury SUV was spotted speeding in the opposite direction from them shortly after. Officers told CBS Miami they didn’t pursue Patterson but stayed close.
Suddenly, Patterson lost control of the Rolls Royce and crashed through a Checkers fast food drive-thru. Police found Patterson missing, the car’s airbags deployed, and the emergency lights flashing. Thankfully, the collision didn’t harm patrons or employees inside the building.
