Miami continues dominance in post week 4 State of Florida power rankings

Miami continued to assert its will over the State of Florida with a 50-15 win at South Florida on Saturday. With the win, Miami is 4-0 overall, 3-0 against Florida teams and 2-0 versus FBS programs in the Sunshine State. Central Florida remains the other undefeated team in Florida with a 3-0 record.

The Knights had a bye in week three. Miami remains first and Central Florida second in the State of Florida post-week four power rankings. Results from week four shook up the teams ranked third through seventh in the Florida Power Rankings. Florida and USF are now 2-2 and FAU, FIU and Florida State are all 1-3.

Florida earned a critical 45-28 SEC win at Mississippi State. Florida State won its first game of the 2024 season 14-9 over California in Tallahassee. Florida Atlantic lost 48-14 at Connecticut. Florida International lost inexplicably 45-42 to FCS Monmouth at home on Saturday…
