First off, I might have to judge you if you’re eating at a pizza chain when we live in Connecticut. We’re home to the best pizza in the country (biased, but also true). Even if you don’t live near New Haven, there are so many amazing pizza options all over the state. I feel like each town can name a place that sells amazing pizza within a small distance of them.
If chain pizza is your thing, then so be it. I’ve never really had chain pizza, so I’m not sure what to compare it to. If I’m eating pizza, I’m eating the good stuff. 247 Wall Street came out with a list of the pizza chains to avoid if you’re going to choose to eat them. They based their data off of reviews on 5 different food blogs and websites. They spoke about how it was pretty inconsistent about what was considered the best pizza chain, but the consistency really stood out when talking about the worst.
Number 5 on their list was Dominos. According to their store locator, Dominos is home to 54 Connecticut locations. You can pretty much access Dominos from anywhere in the state. I think many people like the convenience of Dominos. You can order from an app and it gets delivered relatively fast. The article highlights that the reason to avoid it is due to the lack of consistent quality and the low quality toppings. If you’re eating Dominos due to convenience, you have Uber Eats and DoorDash now, too. You can get way better quality elsewhere at the tap of your fingers…
