Delaware man charged in DUI crash that killed Maryland man in Glasgow, police say

A 28-year-old Newark man who police say was driving drunk Tuesday night when he ran a red light, hit a pickup truck and killed its driver in Glasgow, has been charged.

Fidel “Enrique” Villatoro-Martinez was charged with felony vehicular assault, DUI, driving without a valid license, failure to stop at a red light and “additional traffic violations” for the crash, which occurred a little before 10:45 p.m. at Route 896 and Route 40 (Pulaski Highway), Delaware State Police said.
