NEWARK, Del. – University of Delaware student-athletes posted an all-time high semester GPA for the fall of 2024 with a 3.404, the Department of Athletics, Community, and Campus Recreation (DACCR) announced Tuesday. All teams posted a GPA at 3.00 or higher. Collectively, the department has now registered a 3.00 in 22-straight semesters, including five-consecutive semesters and 3.20 or higher.
“Our student-athletes continue to excel in the classroom and that is no surprise based on their commitment to excellence,” Director of Athletics, Community, and Campus Recreation Chrissi Rawak said. “This is a true testament to the hard work of not only our student-athletes, but our faculty, coaches, and staff as well. I’m incredibly proUD of what these groups continue to accomplish together!”
Women’s golf led the way with a 3.80, followed by its male counterpart at 3.71. Women’s soccer, women’s lacrosse, women’s tennis, rowing, and track & field rounded out the eight teams at 3.50 or better for the term…
