STATEN ISLAND, N.Y.— Following an arrest in June for allegedly fleeing the scene of a crash on Staten Island that left a motorcyclist critically injured, the driver charged in the incident has been indicted by a grand jury on a felony charge.

The defendant, Naftoli Messinger, 21, of Crafton Avenue in Willowbrook, was arrested on the morning of June 25, weeks after the incident. He’s due back Dec. 5 before Justice Lisa Grey, facing a Class E felony charge of leaving the scene of a crash with injury…
