Dayton Public Works ready to hit streets for Friday’s snow

DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) — While some parts of Dayton still haven’t dug out from Sunday and Monday’s snow, the city is preparing to deal with the additional snow expected Friday .

Dayton Public Works Director Fred Stovall said road crews will again be activated for 16-hour shifts for Friday’s snow. The priority, he said, will be highways and main roads due to the amount of traffic.

When will your street get plowed?

They said it’s been several long, busy days in a row for their road crews– and for many drivers, this is their first winter out on the roads.

While busy roads will always be the priority, crews will be out on neighborhood streets to prevent even more snow from building up…
