MONTGOMERY COUNTY, Ohio (TCN) — A 60-year-old man has been indicted on charges related to the death of his missing 29-year-old girlfriend, whose remains were found over two decades ago.
According to the Montgomery County Prosecutor’s Office, on July 30, 2001, Jonathan Link reported his girlfriend, Shannon Anderson, missing. Kettering Police searched for the next several weeks and found her body in rural Ross County on Aug. 16, 2001. Her abandoned vehicle was found in the Atlanta airport parking lot.
The case was presented to a Montgomery County grand jury in 2002, but they found there was not sufficient evidence to indict Link at the time…
