DAYTON, Ohio ( WDTN ) — Due to the National Day of Mourning to honor President James Earl “Jimmy” Carter, Jr., several gates around Wright-Patterson Air Force Base will be closed.
When will roads be clear again? Dayton says all roads plowed by Wednesday
According to Wright-Patt, the following gates will not be usable on Jan. 9:
- 1A (Commissary Gate)
- 15A (State Route 844)
- 1B (Springfield Road)
- 19B (National Road)
- 26A (commercial traffic only)
Gates 12A (AFMC headquarters) and 22B (I-675 Gate) are open 24/7.
