‘Severe damage’ reported after house fire in Montgomery County

Firefighters responded to a house fire in Montgomery County Thursday morning.

Crews were called to the 100 block of Colgate Ave in Jefferson Township on reports of a house fire just after 7 a.m.

Upon arrival, firefighters found heavy fire in the rear of the house, according to Dayton Fire Department District Chief Andrew Wiley.
