Lamont to unveil climate change proposal

HARTFORD, Conn. (WTNH) — Gov. Ned Lamont will unveil his first proposal during Tuesday’s legislative session. It has to do with making Connecticut more resilient to climate change.

From extremely frigid days like Tuesday, when temperatures are in the single digits in some parts of the state, to the flooding we saw last summer.

Extreme weather events are happening more often. That’s why the governor is putting forward a legislative proposal to make the state more resilient.
