Macon driver charged with homicide, DUI. Passenger dies from crash, deputies say

A driver was arrested after veering off the road and crashing , leading to the death of his passenger, according to the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office.

The sheriff’s office alleges Angel Hector Rodriguez, 44, was driving under the influence of alcohol when the crash occurred. He was taken into custody just before 5 p.m. Monday.

Rodriguez was being held without bond Monday. He faces charges including vehicular homicide, DUI, failure to maintain lane, speeding, driving with an expired license plate and lacking valid insurance…
