The 2024 year has come to a close, which means 2025’s budgeting is now in effect. For some companies, that means shaving off the parts of the company that aren’t making the money they need to be – and that’s why Georgia will be seeing three locations of one of the most recognizable department stores close.
Last February, Macy’s announced it would close their underperforming stores over the course of the next three years. The list is finally out, and starting off the first quarter of 2025, Macy’s will be shutting the doors of 66 locations.
Macy’s saw a 2.4% decrease in sales in the third quarter of 2024, but the company continues to be optimistic.
