Powerschool data breach could affect students, staff at these 6 Central Georgia school districts

MACON, Ga. — A data breach at a popular software used by school districts across the country could affect students and staff at five Central Georgia school districts.

Powerschool — which manages information on students’ academics, behavioral issues, attendance and more — reported the breach.

On their website, Powerschool says some social security numbers and medical information may have been involved. Other media outlets report the hack also included names, birthdays and addresses…
