REHOBOTH BEACH — The Office of the Attorney General for the State of Delaware sided with the Rehoboth Beach Board of Adjustment in finding it did not violate Freedom of Information Act requirements during its Sept. 24 meeting, it announced Nov. 18.
The petitioner, identified as Michael Strange in documents, alleged three items related to a certain project were listed on the agenda, but said the board actually discussed four.
The town’s response explained: “The Baltimore Avenue property was considered only for relief from the on-site parking requirements on the subject property that was noticed, and the Baltimore Avenue was not proposed to be used in a manner contrary to its current zoning classification; this parcel was currently used as a parking lot and would continue to be used as a parking lot.”…
