Swim With The Sharks At This Special Missoula Movie Presentation

I went to the Roxy Theater last night to watch the new Robert Eggers film Nosferatu. Without getting into the weeds too deep let me tell you that Nosferatu was a decent flick with some uncomfortable scenes, but I thought it was good overall.

My showing of Nosferatu was much more traditional than this special presentation in the pool!

Missoula Parks & Recreation is hosting a “Dive In Movie Double Feature” this Saturday at the Currents Aquatics Center. The kids can tag along at 5 pm for Migration, an Illumination movie starring Kumail Nanjiani, Elizabeth Banks and Danny DeVito.

The main event is a special showing of Jaws in the pool. What an incredible idea for a movie in the pool. The legendary Steven Spielberg movie debuted in 1975 starring Roy Scheider, Robert Shaw, Richard Dreyfuss and Lorraine Gary. If you haven’t watched it before, now is the perfect time. Relax on your floatie in the pool and fight those anxious thoughts that there’s a shark in the water…
