MOBILE, Ala. ( WKRG ) — The Architectural Review Board denied an application proposing a gas station to replace the CVS pharmacy in the Oakleigh Garden Historic District.
For almost a year, residents in the historic district have been campaigning against the Murphy USA gas station coming to their neighborhood. With concerns about pollution, overall look and use they have been hoping to “Dump the Pump.”
