There’s a new resource available to help local farmers get a better understanding of their businesses.
TEAM Tilley Leaders Program is an outreach program with Black and underserved farmers in Georgia, Alabama, Mississippi, and Louisiana. It looks to teach them how to manage risk and improve profitability using their own farms’ financial data through hands-on training and customized tech called “Tilley.”
Participants will learn about incorporating financial decision s into routine farm management operations, run real-time risk scenarios, and receive financial scorecards on their farm along with ready-to-print loan documents.
