BERKELEY COUNTY, S.C. (WCIV) — A high school student is facing charges after a school resource officer says they were found to have a loaded gun on their person at Philip Simmons High School Wednesday.
The 16-year-old student was charged with carrying a weapon on school grounds, possession of a firearm by a minor, and unlawful carry of a firearm, according to a Berkeley County Sheriff’s Office incident report.
