3-day Lowcountry sailing camp caters to children with autism

CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCSC) – A nonprofit’s three-day camp for children on the autism spectrum set sail on the waters of Charleston over the weekend.

Spectrum Sailing started in the lowcountry but took off across the country about three years ago.

The program’s season starts in February on the west coast in California and makes stops in Florida, Ohio, Texas, Maine, Michigan and Illinois before finishing in the Charleston Harbor…
