LOWCOUNTRY, S.C. (WCIV) — An incoming cold snap midweek is prompting warming shelters throughout the Lowcountry to reopen after a relatively mild week of weather.
Low temperatures are forecast to dip into the low to mid 30s Wednesday night into Thursday morning and in response shelters are opening their doors to Lowcountry residents who are without reliable heat.
