Upstate school districts announce delays

(WSPA) – Multiple school districts in the Upstate are choosing to delay their start time to ensure the safety of the drivers and their students. Here is a list of schools that are delayed on Monday, January 13:

SOUTH CAROLINA

Anderson County:

  • All schools in Anderson County will be delayed by two hours.

Cherokee County:

  • District One will operate on a two hour delay.

Greenville County:

  • All schools will operate on a two hour delay. Buses will not run on icy roads that are impassable, according to a district spokesperson. For students whose routes are impacted, families will be notified directly by the Transportation Department.

Henderson County:

  • Public Schools will have a remote learning day.

Pickens County:

  • All school districts in Pickens County will open on a two hour delay

Spartanburg County:

  • District One will be delayed by two hours.
  • District Two will be delayed by two hours
  • District Three will operate on a two hour delay.
  • District Four will operate on a regular schedule.
  • District Five will be delayed by two hours.
  • District Six will be delayed by two hours.
  • District Seven will operate on a two hour delay.
