Mother, daughter arrested, charged with kidnapping 2 children during visitation in Gwinnett County

ATLANTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First) – A mother and her daughter were both arrested after they allegedly kidnapped two children during court-mandated visitation at a Gwinnett County mall, according to the Gwinnett County Police Department.

Starlita Moore faces two counts of kidnapping, interstate interference with custody, battery, simple battery and third-degree cruelty to children. Meanwhile, 19-year-old Teisha Schulters faces two counts of kidnapping and interstate interference with custody, according to Gwinnett County police.

Last Friday, officers were called to the Sugarloaf Mills mall, where Moore was visiting her two young children at a trampoline park. The woman was caught on camera punching the supervisory Georgia Division of Family and Children Services (DFCS) employee in the face and taking her children to a Crysler 300 in the parking lot with Schulters’ help…
