Kentucky’s overhaul at receiver likely is complete now with the addition of Louisiana Tech transfer Tru Edwards.
He joins Kendrick Law (Alabama), Troy Stellato (Clemson) and J.J. Hester (Oklahoma) as portal additions to go with Ja’Mori Maclin, UK’s most experienced and productive returning receiver after Dane Key, Barion Brown, Anthony Brown-Stephens, Hardley Gilmore and Brandon White left after the 4-8 season.
The 6-3, 201-pound Edwards led Louisiana Tech in receptions (77), receiving yards (897) and receiving touchdowns (6) in 2024 and earned All-Conference USA first-team honors. He had eight receptions of 20 plus yards and four of 40 or more yards. He had touchdown receptions of 71, 75 and 86 yards…
