SIMSBORO — The Lady Tigers roared out of the gates strong and never looked back as Simsboro High School defeated Choudrant High School 50-36 in girls hoops action inside the new SHS gym.
Simsboro stormed out by a 20-8 lead by the end of the opening stanza and held a 33-13 lead at intermission.
“We way that we’ve been playing games is not up to their ability as players,” Roberson said. “When you’re now 3-17, like we are after this game, it’s hard to have confidence. Now we have played a tough schedule. We really have. We truly competed — I mean within 10 points — of Top 10 teams, but we’ve struggled finding wins and I think that’s carried over into our confidence.”…
