Major cold front moves through this weekend!

SHREVEPORT, La. (KSLA) – This weekend will be dry throughout the region; however, it will not be as pleasant as last weekend! For today, clouds linger around the area through most of the day, and highs are expected to range from the lower 40s in the far northwest to the upper 50s in the far southeast. This is slightly below the average for this time of year, but by tonight, we should see temperatures drop well below the average for the entire ArkLaTex.

Our next big cold front moves through tonight, pushing away all cloud cover to the southeast and remaining warmth that we will have today. Temperatures could drop as low as the teens in a couple of areas, but mainly in the 20s for most of the region by tomorrow morning, and highs should only reach the 30s by the afternoon. This will be the coldest air that we have seen so far this season, with some areas feeling like they are in the teens or single digits! With this cold air, some of the ArkLaTex also have the potential to see some snowfall a couple of days after the front moves in!…
