High school students get a slice of adult life during interactive finance event

Jasmine Williams told her friends, “I wouldn’t wish this on my worst enemy.”

That’s how the Whitmer High School senior felt on Thursday after playing an interactive game that showed how difficult adulthood can be.

Young Williams was one of 500 high school students from nine area high schools including Perrysburg, Maumee, and Whitmer to participate in Finances 101 at the University of Toledo, an event that gives teenagers the experience of paying for different expenses like buying a car or paying for utilities…
