Helene is long gone and now we settle into a quieter weather pattern around here. We won’t say we’re completely shower free but chances will be rather low for the next several days. You outdoor plans should work out nicely this weekend.
WEEKEND: A large area of low pressure well north of us will remain parked and be a rain maker. We’re on the southern fringes of the low and occasionally periods of thicker clouds will swing through. It’s possible a light shower could be imbedded in the band of clouds. There will continue to be a southwesterly wind flow into the area. It’s generated by the low pressure system to our north. We expect southwest around 10-15 mph and maybe a little gustier at times. Temps will warm nicely into the lower to mid 80s for highs over the weekend…
