MONTGOMERY, Ala. (WSFA) – As the strings were released and balloons floated off into the distance, the realization from loved ones that Quanterious Thompson is gone was almost too much to bear.
Thompson was the victim of a hit-and-run in the evening hours of Sept. 17 and died from his injuries a few days later. The car and driver have been found, according to police, and evidence will be presented to a grand jury.
Those that knew him, like his aunt Yamakesha Jones, also know that Thompson would want them to stay strong and spread the same positivity he shared throughout the community…
