Bison Soccer Rolls Alabama State In Home Opener

FARGO, N.D. – The North Dakota State soccer team picked up a dominating 3-0 win over Alabama State Thursday night in the Bison home opener at Dacotah Field.

Olivia Watson moved up the career charts with a first half goal, while freshman Morgan Russmann scored her first two collegiate goals in the second half to secure the victory for the Bison. Hannah Stipp made one save for her first collegiate win and cleansheet.

Watson broke the tie in the 20th minute as she tapped in a rebound from Gabrielle Garrett’s header on a Devon Kavanagh corner kick. With the goal, Watson moved into a tie for ninth on NDSU’s goal scoring list in the division one era with Brooklyn Dyce (14)…
