On Monday at 5:50 p.m. a dense fog advisory was issued by the National Weather Service in effect until Tuesday at 6 a.m. for Marshall, Jackson and DeKalb counties.
The weather service states, “Visibility one quarter to one half mile in dense fog.”
“Low visibility could make driving conditions hazardous,” explains the weather service. “If driving, slow down, use your headlights, and leave plenty of distance ahead of you.”
