MONTGOMERY, Ala. (WSFA) – Our first official day of winter was on Saturday, and we’ve had temperatures that have felt very winter-like so far this weekend. Our Sunday morning started off with temperatures in the upper 20s to lower 30s, and our high temperatures later this afternoon are only expected to climb into the lower 50s. Expect another chilly night later tonight, then temperatures turn a little warmer with continued sunny skies into early next week.
We’ll continue to warm up closer to seasonable values as we head through Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. Clouds will be on the increase especially on Christmas Day, but rain chances should stay fairly low with only a small chance to see a few stray showers late Christmas night and into early Thursday morning.

We’ll keep clouds around and continue to stay just above seasonable values each afternoon to close out the week. Looks like a slightly better chance of seeing showers and maybe a few thunderstorms rolls into the region Saturday afternoon and through Saturday night…
