From prison bars to lemon bars, inmate makes most of second chance

MONTGOMERY, Ala. (WSFA) – It’s cheesecake-making time at Epicure restaurant in Millbrook. Nobody’s happier to be here than chef-in-training Jeremy Sales. He’s currently an inmate at the Frank Lee Community Based Facility.

“I got into lot of trouble, running the streets too much. I got in trouble and came to prison,” said Sales.

After serving two years and staying out of trouble, he got a shot to change his life. The work release program lined him up with a job…
