Health officials note spike of flu cases across Alabama

HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (WAFF) – Cases of Influenza are spiking across the state of Alabama.

The Alabama Department of Public Health says the flu makes up just over three percent of illnesses being reported right now, and other respiratory illnesses could follow suit.

“We’re seeing RSV numbers come up as well and we’re starting to see a rise in COVID-19 as well,” said medical officer with ADPH Dr. Wes Stubblefield…
