ODESSA, Texas (KMID/KPEJ) – The Permian Panthers gave a nice Texas welcome to the Carver Rams from Alabama, beating them 41-6. The Panthers rushed for 265 yards on the ground and threw for 160 yards totaling 425 yards to the Rams 248.
Panthers running back Gavin Black had another solid outing carrying the ball 19 times for 186 yards and three touchdowns (unofficial stats). Next week Permian is on a bye before a rivalry showdown against the Odessa Bronchos.
