Certain politicians claim we have a right to a job, a right to an income, a right to health care, a right to food, clothing, and housing. Do we really have the right to the labor and property of others?
We do not have the right to force others to work for us, which is the definition of slavery, and we do not have the right to force others to give us their property, which is theft. We do not have the right to force others to pay our bills. Human rights do not include the right to have slaves or the right to be a thief.
Socialism is slavery and theft. Socialism is monopoly. A government powerful enough to give us all we need is also a government powerful enough to take away from us all that we have. If people do not pay their own bills, someone else must be paying them…
