A Montgomery man has been sentenced to 20 years in federal prison for selling counterfeit drugs laced with fentanyl, which led to the death of one person.
Lawrence Coley III, 37, who was previously convicted on charges of distribution of a controlled substance resulting in death and possession of fentanyl with intent to distribute the illegal drug, will serve 240 months in prison, said Kevin Davidson, acting United States District Attorney for the Middle District of Alabama.
