MONTGOMERY, Ala. (WSFA) – It’s been years now since LaShon Thomas’ son was gunned down in Montgomery, but for her, it feels like it all just happened yesterday.
“It has destroyed my life completely. I am not the same person that I was,” she said.
Since his death, she has made it her mission to raise awareness about his case, be it buying billboards, planning balloon releases and celebrating his birthday every year…
