The NWS offices in both Huntsville and Birmingham have reissued the cold weather advisory, which is now in effect for tonight through Wednesday morning. This includes all of central Alabama as well as northeastern Alabama. Wind chills could drop to between 0 and 1o degrees during this time in the coldest areas, which can be hazardous to anyone spending prolonged periods of time outdoors.
