PRATTVILLE — Prattville Christian Academy breezed through their area tournament without dropping a set, a goal of the Panthers entering the 4A Area 5 tournament on Thursday.
“The girls have been working very hard,” PCA coach Kaylon Cantrell said. “We faced tough competition so far this season which helps us build the team’s skills and experience to tackle the postseason. Tonight capped off the area well. Our goal was to make it through area play without dropping a set and we were able to do that. That is a testament to how hard the girls work.”
PCA defeated Booker T. Washington 25-2, 25-6 and 25-9 in the semifinals and LAMP 25-10, 25-10 and 25-19 in the finals to advance to the South Super Regional next week at the Multiplex at Cramton Bowl…
