A Texas grandmother has been accused of purposely poisoning her 7-year-old granddaughter in a morbid case of Munchausen by proxy syndrome.
Last week Deputies arrested 56-year-old Lisa Campbell-Goins on charges of exploitation of a child, injury to a child and unlawful restraint. She sits the Tarrant County Corrections Center on a $150,000 bond, Law&Crime reported.
This comes after her granddaughter inexplicably began suffering from ulcers in her GI tract and damage to her colon and lower intestine. Family members pointed the finger at Campbell-Goins, the girl’s primary caregiver.

After an investigation, police determined Campbell-Goins had been sending down an alkaline-like substance, possibly a degreaser, down the girl’s feeding tube, according to a probable cause arrest affidavit obtained by Dallas Fox affiliate KDFW said .
