A motorist drove off the side of a road early Thursday morning sparking a brush fire in the Santa Monica Mountains.
The incident was reported just after 1 a.m. after the vehicle plunged off Stunt Road near Calabasas.
Flames had already engulfed the vehicle and spread to nearby brush when first responders arrived at the scene.
Rescue crews spotted the car about 200 feet down the hillside and located the driver using a drone with thermal imaging, freelance media firm KNN reported…
