A horse that was accidentally ejected from its trailer struck a car traveling along a Southern California freeway, slamming through the vehicle’s windshield and fatally injuring a passenger.
Around 2 a.m. on September 22, a Toyota Tacoma pulling a horse in a trailer lost control of the vehicle and hit a guardrail. This caused the trailer to burst open, resulting in the horse tumbling out onto the busy 15 Freeway in Norco, California.
