Adega, San Jose’s only Michelin-starred restaurant , plans to reopen more than a year after announcing its permanent closure. The owners of the Portuguese restaurant announced Tuesday that Adega is expected to make its triumphant return at its previous location at 1614 Alum Rock Ave. on Nov. 15, according to an Instagram post .

“During these past months, we have had several requests from guests to bring back Adega,” the post read in part. “We quickly realized how much our community wanted Adega back as a fine dining restaurant in our city.” SFGATE reached out to Adega for additional comments on the re-opening but did not hear back by publication time.
