Cold mornings expected in Piedmont Triad next week

PIEDMONT TRIAD, N.C. (WGHP) — Talk about a cold front! We’ve been in the 50s all day Sunday which, compared to Saturday afternoon, is nearly 25 degrees colder in a 24-hour period. The chilly weather remains into the evening and overnight hours with many in the low 50s after 8 p.m.

Mostly cloudy skies remain overnight and temperatures fall into the mid-40s Monday morning. That means keep the coats out for the kiddos. It’s going to be cold at the bus stop! Skies become partly cloudy throughout the day Monday and afternoon temperatures reach the mid-60s.

We’ll remain near-seasonable for temperatures into Tuesday with mornings in the upper 40s and highs reaching the upper 60s. A mix of sun and clouds remains for the second day of the work week…
