SPINDALE, N.C. (FOX Carolina) – The Spindale Police Department reports finding a body in the woods on Friday.
Officers said they were notified that the body was found in the woods near Withrow Road and Callahan Koon Road.
Police identified the body as Whitney Janel Byers.
No details regarding the circumstances of her death have been released at this time…
