McDowell County — McDowell County Sheriff Release: The McDowell County Sheriff’s Office is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying
individuals responsible for recent destruction and theft of telephone, broadband, broadcast, and cable telecommunications lines throughout McDowell County.
Over the past several weeks, we have responded to numerous reports of destruction and theft of such utility lines which have resulted in significant damage and disruption to services, and communication. The Sheriff’s Office is working closely with local utility companies and other agencies to investigate each incident.
